Sinekatalog’s take

Jacques Demy's last film, a musical with Yves Montand, looks back at a singer's youth on the Marseille-set stage of Montand's own early life. Wistful and affectionate, it is a charming, bittersweet farewell from a master of the genre.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
