Sinekatalog’s take

Volker Schlöndorff and Margarethe von Trotta adapt Heinrich Böll's tale of a housekeeper whose night with a wanted man lets a tabloid destroy her. Angela Winkler is moving and chilling in a sharp, angry attack on press and police power.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
