A widow finds she is pregnant.

Sinekatalog’s take

Eric Rohmer's period drama follows a widow who finds herself pregnant with no memory of how. Edith Clever and Bruno Ganz are superb in a cool, painterly adaptation of Kleist that is witty, strange and quietly erotic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
