Plot
A woman in revolutionary Paris.
Sinekatalog’s take
Eric Rohmer's period drama follows an English aristocrat in Paris during the Revolution, shown against painted backdrops. Lucy Russell is poised and the film's unusual look and talky detachment make a bold, elegant historical experiment.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
