Plot

Three stories of poverty in Tehran.

Sinekatalog’s take

Mohsen Makhmalbaf's film tells three linked stories of poverty in Tehran, from a disabled child sold to a woman's desperate plight. Harsh and social-realist, it is a bleak, moving portrait of the city's margins.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
