Sinekatalog’s take
Michel Hazanavicius's war drama follows a Chechen boy taken in by a French aid worker during the Second Chechen War. Bérénice Bejo is committed, but the film is sincere yet heavy-handed, and was a disappointment after The Artist.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
