Plot

A coffee planter refuses to leave in an African civil war.

Sinekatalog’s take

Claire Denis's African-set drama has Isabelle Huppert's coffee planter stubbornly staying as civil war closes in. Fevered, fragmented and tense, it is a stark portrait of denial and colonial wreckage.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
