Sinekatalog’s take
Alexander Sokurov's quiet war film follows an old woman visiting her grandson at a Russian army camp in Chechnya. Galina Vishnevskaya is majestic in a human, restrained film that finds tenderness in the dust and heat.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
