Sinekatalog’s take

Robert Siodmak's Gothic thriller stalks a mute servant through a stormy mansion. Atmospheric, shadowy and tense, with Dorothy McGuire sympathetic, it is a classic of 1940s suspense.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
