Sinekatalog’s take

Powell and Pressburger's Technicolor opera-ballet adapts Offenbach with lush sets and dance. Extravagant, dreamlike and gorgeous, with Moira Shearer, it is a rich, theatrical feast that influenced Scorsese and Coppola.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
