Sinekatalog’s take
Corneliu Porumboiu's deadpan crime comedy sends a corrupt Bucharest cop to La Gomera to learn a whistled language. Stylish, twisty and dry, with Vlad Ivanov excellent, it is a playful, offbeat noir homage.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
