Sinekatalog’s take

Gillo Pontecorvo's Adriatic drama has Yves Montand as a fisherman who defies his village by using dynamite to fish. The sea is wonderfully shot, and the simple story of one man against custom has real force.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
