Sinekatalog’s take
Hou Hsiao-hsien's triptych traces three love stories in 1966, 1911 and 2005 with the same two actors. Shu Qi and Chang Chen are superb in a delicate, elegiac, beautifully shot exploration of longing across eras.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
