Sinekatalog’s take

Abderrahmane Sissako's drama of a Malian city under jihadist rule is quietly angry and beautifully shot. Humane and often darkly funny, it shows tyranny's absurdity and cruelty with great restraint.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
