Plot
A reformed yakuza is forced to flee his boss's rivals and drifts from town to town, in a gangster story told in bright colours and musical numbers.
Sinekatalog’s take
Seijun Suzuki's pop-art yakuza film is a candy-coloured musical gangster fantasy. Stylised, abstract and playful, with bright sets and a catchy theme song, it is a cult delight of Japanese cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
