Sinekatalog’s take

Alexander Nanau's documentary follows a ten-year-old Roma boy in Bucharest who looks after his sisters while their mother is jailed, and finds an outlet in hip-hop. Intimate and compassionate, it is a tender, beautifully filmed look at childhood and survival.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
