Sinekatalog’s take

Welles's border-town noir opens with a famous three-minute tracking shot. Baroque, sleazy and stylish, with Charlton Heston as a Mexican detective and Welles as a bloated cop, it is a late-noir landmark.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
