Sinekatalog’s take
Radu Mihăileanu's debut follows a Romanian student in the Ceaușescu years who is pressed to inform on his lover and friends. Tense and humane, it won the Grand Prix des Amériques at Montreal as a gripping study of betrayal and surveillance.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
