Sinekatalog’s take

Theo Angelopoulos's epic follows a troupe of actors through Greece from 1939 to 1952, echoing its myths and wars. Long, stylised and haunting, with its famous slow takes, it is a monumental political and mythic work.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
