A political murder under the Metaxas dictatorship.

Sinekatalog’s take

Theo Angelopoulos's second film uses long takes and silences to tell of a political murder under Greece's Metaxas dictatorship. Cold and elliptical, it is a formal, chilling debut of his mature style and fascination with power.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
