A Russian émigré in Paris in the 1930s.
Sinekatalog’s take
Eric Rohmer's spy drama follows a Russian émigré couple in 1930s Paris, where the wife has doubts about her general husband's loyalties. Talky and restrained, it is a cool, intelligent and unusual political film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
