Sinekatalog’s take

Diao Yinan's drama follows a poor Chinese tailor who borrows a policeman's uniform and slips into a life of petty deceit. Quiet and humane, with small-town texture, it is an understated, sharp early film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
