Sinekatalog’s take

Elem Klimov's satire of a Soviet pioneer camp pits a rigid director against a mischievous girl. Funny, warm and subversive, it was cut and shelved, and is now a beloved comic gem of the Thaw.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
