Plot
Two boys stop talking in protest against their parents.
Sinekatalog’s take
Yasujiro Ozu's cheerful comedy has two boys refusing to speak until their parents buy a television. Gentle and funny, with fart gags and neighbourhood gossip, it is a lovely, colourful look at postwar suburbia.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
