A woman reluctantly takes in a lost boy.

Sinekatalog’s take

Yasujiro Ozu's postwar comedy-drama has a grumpy widow reluctantly taking in a lost boy and gradually softening. Warm and wry, with Choko Iida excellent, it is a gentle study of kindness amid ruins.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
