Sinekatalog’s take

The gates of the Lumière factory in Lyon open and workers walk and cycle out into the street, in a film shown to the first paying public. It lasts less than a minute, and it is the moment cinema began.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
