Plot

Teenagers in a suburban American town share the same nightmares of Freddy Krueger, a burned man with a razor-fingered glove who kills them in their dreams. Nancy, one of them, tries to stay awake and discovers who he was and why he is after them. Wes Craven's 1984 horror film, with Robert Englund as Freddy, blurs dream and reality and launched a long-running franchise.

Sinekatalog’s take

Wes Craven's slasher turns dreams into a killing ground, and Freddy Krueger became a horror icon. Inventive and creepy, with a smart idea at its core that outlasts its rough edges.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
