Sinekatalog’s take
Sohrab Shahid-Saless's quiet film follows a boy in a poor Persian Gulf fishing village who sells eggs, goes to school and cares for his sick mother. Spare, patient and moving, with non-professional actors, it is an influential work of Iranian neorealism.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
