Plot

Two hundred years after her death, Ellen Ripley is cloned by military scientists on a spaceship who want the alien queen growing inside her. When the creatures escape, Ripley joins a crew of smugglers and a mysterious young woman, Call, in a fight to reach Earth. Jean-Pierre Jeunet's 1997 fourth film in the series, written by Joss Whedon, adds a dark sense of humour and a grotesque look to the franchise.

Sinekatalog’s take

Jeunet's strange visit to Hollywood gives the series a grotesque look and a wicked sense of humour. The script and effects are uneven, but the underwater chase and the nursery of failed clones are pure, unsettling invention.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
