Plot

Bazil, a video-shop clerk, lost his father to a landmine and is later hit in the head by a stray bullet. He is taken in by a band of inventive junkyard scavengers, and together they plan to bring down the two weapons manufacturers behind both events by turning them against each other. Jean-Pierre Jeunet's 2009 comedy, with Dany Boon, is a cartoonish heist full of gadgets.

Sinekatalog’s take

A junkyard fable that turns the arms trade into a cartoon heist. The gadgets and sight gags are delightful, but the political anger underneath is lighter than the film's visual charm.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
