Plot

A middle-aged suburban father, bored with his life and marriage, becomes infatuated with his daughter's friend and decides to change.

Sinekatalog’s take

A suburban satire about midlife crisis and repression. Sam Mendes keeps it visually sleek, Kevin Spacey is sardonic, and the plastic bag scene became shorthand. Some of its edges now feel dated.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
