An actress studies the woman she is to play.

Sinekatalog’s take

Todd Haynes's melodrama about an actress studying a notorious woman is camp, tense and unsettling. Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore are superb, and the film keeps its moral ambiguity gloriously uncomfortable.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
