Plot
A film about friendship and class. English title: The Friend.
Sinekatalog’s take
Yılmaz Güney's drama explores friendship across class lines in 1970s Turkey, as a wealthy man and a poor friend's bond is tested. Humane and sharply observed, it is a significant early entry in Güney's socially engaged cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
