Plot
Yılmaz Güney began the film, but was arrested early in production and Şerif Gören took over, finishing it from Güney's instructions. The drama follows an anxious figure caught up in the pressures of a small-town community. The film won six awards at the 1975 Antalya Film Festival, including best director, and belongs to the committed, socially conscious strand of Turkish cinema of the 1970s.
