Plot
A film on the war poet Siegfried Sassoon.
Sinekatalog’s take
Terence Davies's biopic of war poet Siegfried Sassoon moves from the trenches to a lonely, bitter old age. Jack Lowden and Peter Capaldi are fine, and the film's formal elegance and wit make a moving study of repression.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
