Sinekatalog’s take

Joseph Losey's First World War courtroom drama has an officer defending a deserter on trial. Dirk Bogarde and Tom Courtenay are superb in a bleak, claustrophobic and bitter portrait of military justice and futility.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
