Plot
In 2045, domestic robots look after every home, and when an uprising of androids begins outside, a suburban house locks itself down with a squabbling group of humans trapped inside with their own household robots. As the machines debate whether to protect or replace them, old love affairs, jealousies and a family quarrel explode in the living room. Jean-Pierre Jeunet's 2022 comedy for Netflix returns to his colourful, gadget-filled style.
Sinekatalog’s take
A chatty house comedy with an army of cheerful robots, bright colours and an old-fashioned sense of farce. It is more playful than deep, and a minor entry from a director who has done much better.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
