Sinekatalog’s take
Jean-Pierre Melville's cool Paris heist film follows a gentleman gambler planning a casino robbery. Stylish and ironic, it anticipated the New Wave and is a model of laid-back crime cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
