A married woman and a doctor meet by chance at a railway station tea room and fall in love, but are held back by duty.
Sinekatalog’s take
Two married strangers fall quietly in love at a railway station. David Lean's restrained romance, scored with Rachmaninoff, is an exemplar of British emotional repression and still moving.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
