Georgian history.

Sinekatalog’s take

Otar Iosseliani's film moves through eras of Georgian history, from medieval times to Soviet purges and prison, with the same actors in different roles. Comic, bleak and cyclical, it is a wry, inventive vision of violence and survival.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
