Plot
A filmmaker returns to Chad.
Sinekatalog’s take
Mahamat-Saleh Haroun's semi-documentary follows him returning to Chad after years abroad, to find the cinemas closed and old friends gone. Personal and wry, it is a melancholic, affectionate essay on exile and the death of African cinema culture.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
