Plot
During one night in Belgrade in 1995, a series of interlinked stories, with an assortment of characters, among them a taxi driver, a doctor and a group of young thugs, shows violence and bitterness spilling over after years of war. Goran Paskaljević's 1998 film is a dark and sometimes absurd picture of a society brutalised by conflict.
Sinekatalog’s take
Goran Paskaljević's interwoven drama follows one night in Belgrade in 1995 as war's bitterness spills into everyday life. Dark, bleak and bitterly funny, it is an unflinching look at a society poisoned by conflict.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
