Sinekatalog’s take
Guy Maddin's first colour film is set in an Alpine town where a shout can cause an avalanche, and passions are repressed to absurdity. Stylised like early Technicolor, it is a delirious, funny, melodramatic fantasy.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
