Sinekatalog’s take

Guy Maddin's debut tells of smallpox patients in an Icelandic-Canadian hospital competing for a nurse's affection, in a murky silent-style fable. Odd, grotesque and funny, it is a strange, defiantly lo-fi cult gem.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
