Sinekatalog’s take
Katsuhiro Otomo's animated short, part of the Short Peace anthology, tells a tragic love story in Edo-period Japan with ink-like visuals and fire. Beautiful and sorrowful, it was shortlisted for an Oscar and is a stunning piece of hand-crafted animation.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
