Sinekatalog’s take
Makoto Shinkai's first feature is a lyrical anime of friendship, a tower and a parallel world. Gorgeous watercolour backgrounds and wistful romance mark it, though its story is hazy.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
