Sinekatalog’s take

Makoto Shinkai's short sci-fi anime, made almost single-handedly, tells of lovers separated by space and time via text messages. Delicate and poignant, it announced a major new voice in anime.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
