A documentary of a worker at a Gobi oil field.
Sinekatalog’s take
Wang Bing's 14-hour documentary watches a worker at a Gobi oil field through his shifts, with long periods of waiting and sleep. Austere and radical, it is an immersive, monumental exercise in time and labour.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
