A documentary about three children living alone in a mountain village in Yunnan.
Sinekatalog’s take
Wang Bing's documentary follows three young sisters living alone in a poor Yunnan mountain village while their father works away. Patient and tender, it is a quietly devastating picture of childhood and rural poverty.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
