A documentary filmed in a psychiatric hospital in Yunnan.
Sinekatalog’s take
Wang Bing's four-hour documentary stays inside a psychiatric hospital in Yunnan, filming patients' daily lives, boredom and brief humour. Unflinching and intimate, it is a harrowing, compassionate look at confinement and humanity.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
